NEW BETHANY MINISTRIES, Bethlehem - 

Please join us to make POPPIES OF REMEMBRANCE /LANTERNS OF HOPE kits for a new community fundraiser in partnership with Musikfest. Meet at the Visitor Center at SteelStacks, Ruins Parking Lot 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on 6/7, 6/8, 6/21, 6/22, OR 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on 6/7, 6/8. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs of sand unassisted to fill bags and place candles. Kit making will be held outdoors under a tent, rain or shine. Social distancing and face masks will be required. NATIONAL MUSEUM OF INDUSTRIAL HISTORY, Bethlehem 

is seeking Gallery Guides that will engage with visitors to provide a welcome/orientation, answer questions and oversee the visitor experience in our indoor and outdoor exhibit spaces. Also, as a Docent, volunteers will have the chance to deepen your knowledge of our rich industrial heritage and share it with visitors by leading guided tours of our indoor and outdoor exhibit spaces. LEHIGH COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY, Allentown
 
Is looking for Cat & Dog Lovers! Cat Care duties would include cleaning, feeding, and socializing the cats while they wait for their forever homes. Dogs need daily walks - different time slots are available every day. Orientation will be held for all new volunteers!

CAMELOT FOR CHILDREN, Allentown 

is looking for adults and teens (min age 14, or 6 with adult) 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Tuesdays & Thursdays from June 21 to July 30th for our six-week day camp. You will help us create the magic of childhood for special needs kids and their siblings with crafts, activities, special guest entertainment, and enjoy the playground and splash pad located on the campus. Lehigh Valley Youth for Christ

NEEDS VOLUNTEERS

We are looking for 6-8 teens to help the weeks of April 18th-May 24th.

  • Complete a group interview (in-person and virtual options available)

  • In accordance with PA State Laws, all volunteers are required to obtain a PA Criminal Background Check and a PA Child Abuse Clearance. Details for obtaining clearances will be provided after the interview process.

THE SALVATION ARMY Allentown needs volunteers (minimum age 10 with adult) to tend to our flower beds at our Comfort Cottage from now through the fall. You can come once, or multiple times, depending on what works best for you. For the most part, you can create your own schedule; however, there may be some exceptions.   All COVID-19 safety protocols must be followed.  The Comfort Cottage is a program where children who live in foster care can visit with their biological families. NEEDS 
VOLUNTEERS!

In celebration of Liberty High School's 100th graduation class in 2022, the Bethlehem Area Public Library is creating a digital archive of LHS Yearbooks.  What a great way to earn some community service hours!
We are looking for high school students to help scan these books here at the Main Library (11 W. Church St.)

We're looking for someone who:
  • Has the ability to work independently
  • Works well with others and is eager to learn new skills
  • Understands computers generally and Microsoft Windows and Google Drive specifically

Experience working with a scanner and image editing software would be a plus!
