HISTORIC BETHLEHEM MUSEUMS & SITES is looking for volunteers interested in planting/tending at the Colonial Garden at Burnside Plantation. The Garden is planted with heirloom seeds and plants and everything is grown organically. Plants, seeds, and compost are provided, and gardeners share fresh produce from the garden. Assemble packages of food and organize/load packages for kids-at-risk who receive a weekly package of food to get them through the weekend until Monday's school breakfast. The HALO Project is a 10-week outpatient intervention program starting on Feb 25 from 6-8pm for foster/adoptive kids and their families struggling with the impacts of childhood trauma.
