ALLENTOWN RESCUE MISSION needs volunteers to do or refer drywall contractor(s) who would donate time and materials to demo and repair 3 interior walls at their facility on Sunday, June 30 from 9am-5pm. Wall 1 is an old plaster lathe wall that needs to be demo'd and sheetrock put up. Walls 2 & 3 are in classroom/clinic area where sheetrock is in poor repair due to water damage. CANCER SUPPORT COMMUNITY GREATER LEHIGH VALLEY, Allentown has fun volunteer opportunities available at their Dragon Boat Festival from 7am-3pm on Saturday, June 15 at Evergreen Lake, Bath. Be part of this special event by being parking attendants, setting-up and cleaning-up, selling raffle tickets and t-shirts, or marshalling boat launch or stand-by boating teams. DELAWARE & LEHIGH NATIONAL HERITAGE CORRIDOR, Easton needs Visitor Service Volunteers and National Canal Museum Docents/Guides for the 2019 season (June - December). Service volunteers act as greeters or assist in the Gift Shop. Guides help bring history to life for visitors. Training and reading materials are provided. GRACEDALE NURSING HOME, Nazareth is looking for high school students (14+ years) to participate in a summertime Junior Volunteer Program. Students generally assist in one of these areas: resident transport, activity assistants, and one-on-one visits. Hours Monday - Friday 9am-3pm with a commitment of at least one day a week required. VOLUNTEER CENTER OF THE LEHIGH VALLEY, Bethlehem is recruiting high school students entering 10th,, 11th, or 12thgrade for their goLEAD Leadership Program which will take place from 9am-3pm on Monday, July 15 to Friday, July 19. The Great Southside Sale 2019 -Volunteers Needed!

Shifts, when we need the most volunteers, are setup from 7:30-9:30 am, and 9-11:30 am when the work is most intense. However, we would be happy to have you join us ANY time, all day long.
  • 7:30 am - 9:30 am       Setup: Distributing boxes, unpacking, and organizing merchandise.
  • 9 am - 11:30 am          Opening: Crowd control, organizing, and answering questions.
  • 11 am - 1:30 pm          Recovery: Reorganizing, folding, and crowd control after the blitz.
  • 1 pm – 3 pm                Winding Down: Organizing, folding, assisting with bag sale.
  • 3 pm – 5 pm                Clean Up: Packing boxes, loading trucks, collecting trash.

Leadership Day at Donegan Elementary School

  • Description: Donegan Elementary School is hosting a school-wide Leadership Day. Throughout the day, students will be painting parking spaces according to the 7 Habits of Highly Effective Kids. In addition to painting parking spaces, they will also paint and personalize river rocks to add to the outdoor classroom. Volunteers will be needed to help facilitate the painting process throughout the day. Experience and interest in the visual arts are preferred. However, students with strong leadership qualities are encouraged as well.

Hanover Elementary School Spring Festival
Student Volunteers Needed to help make this event successful! The festival will be held: 

Friday, May 24th, from 4:30-7:30 p.m. 

 There will be 4 shifts, each 1 & 1/2 hours long, with the exception of set-up. We need lots of volunteers to help with games, food, rides, tickets, set-up, and take-down. All students that work the entire length of the
festival, 4:30-7:30, will be fed a meal.

Volunteers Needed!
Planting day to put in colorful annual plants, put compost on all the garden beds, prune shrubs, do a little weeding, fertilize some of the plants, and finish tidying up from the winter.

Kirkland Village
Needs Volunteers!!!!

Located between Center and Linden streets in Bethlehem, is now accepting new volunteers for the summer and fall. Volunteer positions include assisting seniors in activities such as Bingo, Technology Support, wheelchair transports, as well as volunteering in the dining areas. Students must be able to do a minimum of 10 hours+ to volunteer.
