Needs VOLUNTEERS to help work the snack stand for a softball tournament in Bethlehem

When:  Saturday, Oct. 5th and Sunday, Oct. 6th

Where:  Northwest Little League Fields (2 days, 12u softball tournament)
              1500 Kaywin Ave.
              Bethlehem, Pa 18018

Shifts:  We are looking for 2 volunteers per hour, both days from 7 am to 6 pm.  

Job duty:  Helping make food, serve food and collect money.

LEHIGH VALLEY ZOO, Schnecksvile needs volunteers (adult supervision for 10-13 years) for "Boo at the Zoo," a Trick or Treating Event. Four event dates: Saturday, October 19; Sunday, October 20; Saturday, October 26, and Sunday, October 27 from 9:45am-3:45pm on all dates. BETHLEHEM SPECIAL OLYMPICS 
Needs Volunteers!
to work with Rhythmic Gymnastics athletes as they learn skills and routines. Weekly practices on Wednesdays from 6:30-8pm. Competitions on some weekends in the spring. Volunteers to work with Artistic Gymnastics athletes are also needed for male and female gymnasts of varied ages and abilities. Weekly practices are Thursdays 7:30-8:30pm. THE SALVATION ARMY, Allentown has a volunteer opportunity for 9-11 Day of Service from 9am-3pm to do some gardening and landscaping work at The Hospitality House Shelter. Help clean up the exterior spaces of their building. The garden needs some TLC to remove weeds, debris, and overall sprucing up of this area. Bring gloves and work clothes to help with this project. Celtic Classic Bethlehem


Celtic Cultural Alliance is looking for volunteers for Celtic Classic Highland Games and Festival, which will be held September 27-29, 2019.  http://celticfest.org/volunteers  Several different opportunities provide ways for students to be engaged at the festival and to gain knowledge of large scale events. 

Also, Celtic Classic offers one $500 scholarship to a student who has volunteered for 12 or more hours at the 2019 Celtic Classic or previous years. http://celticfest.org/cca_scholarships

Children’s Activity Assistant  - Distribute art materials and assist children with craft projects. Project training will be provided at the Volunteer Orientation meeting. Includes helping to distribute books with Cops-n-kids.

Stage Hand - Assist stage managers as needed, help with any backstage needs, load and unload performer’s equipment from stage.
Usher/Ice House - Ice House - Greet attendees, hand out program information, assist with seating, monitor door during a concert performance.  

Merchandise Tent - Assist in the Merchandise Tent by keeping merchandise stocked and/or assisting customers.

is seeking volunteers for their annual marathon on Saturday, 9/7 (9am-5pm) and Sunday, 9/8 (5:30am-1:30pm). The Marathon starts in Allentown, goes through Bethlehem, and ends in Easton.  Volunteers help with registration, pack pick-up, hand out water to runners, and course marshal spots (cheering on runners) along the route.
