SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK, Nazareth - 

Backpack Buddies, a kid-friendly nutrition program needs volunteers. Help assemble backpacks on Friday, October 25 from 8:30-11:30am. Tasks include assembling packages of food and organizing/loading packages. Volunteers should feel comfortable standing, bending, and lifting up to 30 lbs. Close-toed shoes are required. needs volunteer Tutors for their After-School Homework Club from 3-5pm Monday-Thursday. Volunteers assist children with homework, school projects, reading, math, and enrichment activities. DELAWARE & LEHIGH NATIONAL HERITAGE CORRIDOR, Easton is looking for volunteers to help with their Half Marathon Run & Walk on 

Sunday, November 3

Volunteers will staff water stops, start and finish areas, and many places in between. They serve water and food, direct participants at road intersections and crossings, help present medals and awards, and cheer on participants. The course starts at the Northern Lehigh High School, Slatington, and finishes at Canal Street Park, Northampton.

EQUI-LIBRIUM, INC., Nazareth 

is hosting a "Night at the Races" on Friday, November 15 at the PBS39 facility on the SteelStacks campus, Bethlehem. Races will be shown on big screens and people can buy a horse, place bets, and cheer them on. Volunteers are needed to help set-up, run bets during races, and help clean-up.
