ARTSQUEST, Bethlehem Oktoberfest (Oct 5-7 & Oct 12-14) is a free festival that features brew samples, authentic German food and beer, live music and schuhplattlers, as well as attractions like the exciting Beer-Lympics competition, the popular dachshund races, Yuengling Oktoberfest 5k, local artisans and more. LILY'S HOPE FOUNDATION needs volunteers for their 5K Run, Walk or Stroll on Saturday, October 13 for event set up/take down, water distribution, finish line assistance, food stands. Please join us for a fun Saturday morning at Valley Preferred Cycling Center in Breinigsville, PA. Breakfast and Snacks will be provided for all participants. THE CHILDREN'S HOME OF EASTON is partnering with The Northampton Historical Society with a wine auction to benefit both organizations Saturday October 6th at the State Theater in Easton. We are looking for mature adults to help with registration, coat check, wine pouring for tasting and "runners" for the silent auction. Hours needed are 5pm to 10-10:30PM. BETHLEHEM SPECIAL OLYMPICS needs additional Basketball volunteers on Monday nights starting in January. Practices are held on Mondays from 6:30-8pm at Northeast Middle School. Volunteers only need to know the basics of basketball and be able to commit to attending most practices. QUI-LIBRIUM, Nazareth needs volunteers (age 14+) to be horse leaders and side helpers to assist during horseback riding and cart driving lessons for children and adults with special needs. Volunteers will be assigned to the same participant for one hour once a week for 11 weekly sessions. Volunteers are also needed for Special Events and doing work around the farm or in the office. LEHIGH VALLEY ZOO, Schnecksville is open 7 days a week from 10am-4pm and is looking for volunteers
to help on weekdays (Mon.-Fri.). Volunteers help at a variety of interactive stations including Giraffe
Feedings, Lorikeet Landing, Goat, and Barn Yard Exhibit Team, and Kangaroo Tour Team. Call Julia

Calypso Elementary Family Bingo Night
ages: K-5 and families
Date/time: Fri. Nov. 9, from 6-8pm, One-time commitment.
Description:  
This event encourages families to spend a fun night together, in a safe environment
that is screen free!
Volunteers are needed to work the snacks table, registration sign-in table, and basket raffle table as well as "floaters" to refill bingo supplies and help with setup/cleanup.
