Luminaria Night 2019

This year, our WLS event will run every Wed-Sun (closed Mon/Tue) from 5p-10p beginning Friday, 11/15/19 until Sunday, 12/29/19.
Volunteers at this event will help at a variety of stations including:
• Hot Chocolate/Concession Stands
• Holiday Crafts and Games
• Costumed Characters
• Fire Pits and MORE!

FRIENDS OF JOHNSTON, INC., Bethlehem
seeks volunteers
to help decorate for the holidays by putting up lights, making wreaths, garlands, and centerpieces on Saturday, November 30 from 10am-3pm and Sunday, December 1 from 1-3pm. Volunteers are also needed to help with Santa's Breakfast on Sunday, December 15 from 7am-1pm. Santa's helpers will market, secure donations and sponsorships, decorate, set-up/take-down, serve and run Santa's workshop projects for the kids. is looking for volunteers to help the residents and staff get in the Holiday Spirit by helping to decorate Christmas trees on Wednesday, December 4 from 9am-3pm. GREATER VALLEY YMCA, Nazareth
needs volunteers to help put on the biggest Thanksgiving 5K race in the Lehigh Valley supporting the work of the Greater Valley YMCA Nazareth Branch. The race date is Thursday, November 28 from 7am-11am. Opportunities available for course marshal (cheer and direct), set-up, tear-down, and create an awesome experience for the 1,000 runners/walkers taking part in the day. NORTHEAST COMMUNITY CENTER, Bethlehem
Needs volunteers to assist with food distribution on the 2nd Wednesday of every month from 5-7pm. Tasks include helping clients choose food items, bagging food items, organizing shelves, and moving products between the storage and distributions. Some heavy lifting occasionally involved; Spanish language skills helpful, but not required.
