SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK, Nazareth - Backpack Buddies, a kid-friendly nutrition program needs volunteers. Help assemble backpacks on Friday, October 25 from 8:30-11:30am. Tasks include assembling packages of food and organizing/loading packages. Volunteers should feel comfortable standing, bending, and lifting up to 30 lbs. Close-toed shoes are required. "Bigs" and "Littles" spend time on creative arts projects, recreation, health/nutrition, math games, and more; no math, computer, or tutoring skills needed. Volunteer on Thursdays from 3:30-5pm. Sunday, November 3

Volunteers will staff water stops, start and finish areas, and many places in between. They serve water and food, direct participants at road intersections and crossings, help present medals and awards, and cheer on participants.
