CEDARBROOK NURSING HOME, Allentown - Volunteers are needed to transport wheelchair-bound residents to and from in-house appointments and activities Tuesdays 1:00 - 3:30 PM. An excellent opportunity for exercise and at the same time a chance to chat with individual residents and make them feel special! EQUI-LIBRIUM, INC., Nazareth needs volunteers (14+ years) to help with their Holiday Horse Camp. Volunteers will assist participants with disabilities by helping them on and off the horse, walk next to the rider when they are mounted, help with their lesson, and help during other horse-related activities (grooming, feeding, etc.).Camp runs from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Wed. 12/27, Thurs. 12/28, and  Fri. 12/29 Call Yvonne Darlington, 610-365-2266, volunteercoordinator@equi-librium.org.

MORAVIAN HISTORICAL SOCIETY - Bethlehem is seeking volunteer help to index historic church registers in an online database that dates back to the 1700’s and later. It is the first big step in making the contents of these registers accessible to users across the world! Help us preserve history one name at a time! GRACEDALE NURSING HOME, Nazareth - Volunteers needed to escort residents to appointments within the facility. Opportunities are Monday through Friday 9AM-3PM.  Activity helpers needed to assist staff with games, crafts, and special events. GRASS Recycling & Sustainability Project (For LHS Students Only!) - Student volunteers are needed to collect and coordinate recycling at Liberty. Students are needed daily. Please contact Mr. Zahm for more information at gzahm@basdschools.org



 FEAT (For FHS Students only!) - Freedom’s Environmental Awareness Team is always looking for new members to help with coordinating and collecting recycling!  They recycle after school most Tuesdays and Thursdays. Students meet in room 143. As the weather gets warmer, they will also need volunteers to work in the courtyard with weeding, mulching, planting, and general clean up.
