Students can volunteer in Fountain Hill or Allentown.
Here are some of the activities that students will be assisting with:
- Transport Assistant – Help the Cedarbrook staff transport our wheelchair residents to entertainment, games, faith services, and other activities in our buildings. Most shifts are weekdays, 1:45-3:45. Any assistance you can provide will be a great help.
- Games, Coloring, and Activity Helpers – Do you like to play games (Bingo, Pinochle, etc.), do coloring, do crafts, or other activities?? Cedarbrook is looking for volunteers to come on a weekly basis to assist with these types of activities. Call today and let us know what you are interested in helping with and your availability.

HISPANIC CENTER LEHIGH VALLEY, Basilio Huertas Senior Center, Bethlehem is looking for artistic volunteers to instruct and encourage seniors (mostly Spanish speakers) in groups of 25 in a painting activity. CAMELOT FOR CHILDREN, Allentown
is looking for adults and teens (min age 14, or 6 with adult) 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Tuesdays & Thursdays from June 21 to July 30th for our six-week day camp. You will help us create the magic of childhood for special needs kids and their siblings with crafts, activities, special guest entertainment, and enjoy the playground and splash pad located on the campus. seeks hardworking volunteers to assist with donation deliveries to the food pantry. On Fridays, volunteers would go to Sam’s Club collection site if needed, load the van, unload donations at the Center, count, and record quantities of donations, and organize food on shelves so it is ready for distribution. On the third Thursday of the month, we receive a delivery from the Food Bank where the same process occurs. Must be able to lift 25–30-pound boxes of food and willing to spend 2-3 hours working hard. is seeking Gallery volunteers and Tour guides at the Kemerer Museum and Moravian Museum to lead guests through the museum while offering a lively and educational experience, and to answer visitors’ questions. Guides should be comfortable talking to visitors of all ages and will receive training to provide a high-quality tour experience. Shifts are 3-4 hours long and two shifts per month are requested. The Center for Animal Health and Welfare is looking for Camp Counselors to work for paid or volunteer positions. If you have experience and enjoy working with kids we really could use your help. Camp Pawsome will be held on four consecutive weeks, starting the first week of July and running to the end of July. Dates are listed below (see Camp Pawsome flyer) and the camp counselor's hours are 8am to 4pm, (Monday through Friday). Camp start time is 9am.
Ideally, we are looking for one counselor per ten children enrolled so we expect to need two counselors per week. If you or someone you know is interested in applying please click the email button at the bottom of the page (below the Camp Pawsome flyer) to contact us.
