Must be able to lift up to 50lbs of sand unassisted to fill bags and place candles. Kit making will be held outdoors under a tent, rain or shine. Social distancing and face masks will be required. THE SALVATION ARMY Allentown needs volunteers (minimum age 10 with adult) to tend to our flower beds at our Comfort Cottage from now through the fall. You can come once, or multiple times, depending on what works best for you. For the most part, you can create your own schedule; however, there may be some exceptions. All COVID-19 safety protocols must be followed. The Comfort Cottage is a program where children who live in foster care can visit with their biological families. In celebration of Liberty High School's 100th graduation class in 2022, the Bethlehem Area Public Library is creating a digital archive of LHS Yearbooks. What a great way to earn some community service hours!
We are looking for high school students to help scan these books here at the Main Library (11 W. Church St.)
We're looking for someone who:
- Has the ability to work independently
- Works well with others and is eager to learn new skills
- Understands computers generally and Microsoft Windows and Google Drive specifically
Experience working with a scanner and image editing software would be a plus!
