EQUI-LIBRIUM, INC, (EQUINE ASSISTED ACTIVITIES & THERAPIES), Nazareth needs volunteers (ages 14+) to help during four different weeks of half-day Horse Camp. Camp dates are July 15-19 and August 12-16 (ages 8-12); August 5-9 (ages 13+); and August 19-23 (students 4-7). LEHIGH VALLEY ZOO, Schnecksville is seeking volunteers to help at their 12^th Annual Run Wild 5K/10K for animal conservation. Volunteers are needed from 6:30-10:30am on Saturday, August 17. Volunteers will be helping with stations such as: registration, check-in, water/snack stands, timing & awards, course guides and trail safety, and more! PHOEBE HEALTH CARE CENTER, Allentown is looking for volunteers (minimum age 13, or entering 8^th grade) to help transport residents to/from their rooms to the on-site viewing area and enjoy fellowship while listening to live music at their Summer Concerts. Performance dates and bands: July 4 - Better than Bingo-7-8:30pm (fireworks ASD Stadium until 9:30pm); August 24-Good News Traveling Band-1:15-4:15pm. WESTMINSTER VILLAGE, Allentown has volunteer opportunities for students (ages 14+) to help transport residents to/from in-house activities. Engage with seniors and help them with activities such as bingo and arts and crafts through September. Volunteers (adult supervision ages 14-17) are also needed for helping residents with grocery shopping Wednesday mornings from 9-11:30am and/or Fridays 12:30-2:30pm. DELAWARE & LEHIGH NATIONAL HERITAGE CORRIDOR, Easton needs Visitor Service Volunteers and National Canal Museum Docents/Guides for the 2019 season (June - December). Service volunteers act as greeters or assist in the Gift Shop. Guides help bring history to life for visitors. Training and reading materials are provided. SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK, Nazareth needs volunteers for their Free Fridays (when member agencies shop at their food bank at no cost to them). Usually, up to 10 volunteers are needed from 12:30-2:30pm. Volunteers must be comfortable lifting to 50 lbs., bending, and walking for the entire time.
