Allentown Rescue Mission needs Volunteers for their Gala!

ALLENTOWN RESCUE MISSION, Allentown is holding its First Annual Gala "Celebrating Lives Changed" to observe the Mission's 115 years of service on Sat, May 14 at 5:30pm at Muhlenberg College.  Volunteers (15+ years) are needed for all aspects of the event: planning and solicitation of donors;   committee persons- Silent/Live Auctions, Greeting and Registration, and Decorations; and day of event volunteers - 2pm-10pm!  Call Deirdre Federico, 610-740-5500 x22, dfrederico@armpa.org.

Clearview Elementary Spring Carnival!

Clearview Elementary Spring Carnival will be held on Saturday, May 21st and high school volunteers are needed!

Youth Education in the Arts - April 24th at Stabler!

Volunteers needed for our Indoor Championships for winter guard and percussion on Sunday, April 24th. Two shifts available, from 9:30am-3:00pm and 2:30pm - 8:00pm. Autism Speaks Walk

Autism Speaks of the Lehigh Valley will be hosting their annual walk this year on April 16th at the Steel Stacks. Student volunteers are needed from 8 am to 12 pm for a variety of roles.

New Opportunity with Feed The Children

Interested in Fire Safety?

AMERICAN RED CROSS, Allentown - Volunteers are needed to help teach home fire safety and help to install smoke alarms.  Smoke alarm installation events are scheduled for 4/23 Central Fire Station, Allentown 9am-3pm; 4/30 Slatedale Fire Dept., 9am-3pm; and 5/7 Central Fire Station, Easton 10am-4pm.  Volunteers should be able to walk comfortably, access stairs, and carry light loads.  Call 484-403-4718 or visit our website www.redcross.org/local/eastern-pa.

Bethlehem Special Olympics

The Bethlehem Special Olympics is hosting a swim meet on Saturday, May 14th at Liberty High School from 8am-5pm. MANY volunteers are needed and it is a great way to earn Community Service Hours.  Any interested volunteer should contact Dana at bso.dana@gmail.com.

Hanover Elementary School Carnival

The annual spring festival at Hanover Elementary School will be held on Friday, May 27th and volunteers are needed!   Set-up will begin at 2:30-4:30, 1st shift will be 4:30-6:00, 2nd shift will be 6:00-7:30 & clean up will begin at 7:30.  All students will also be supplied a meal.

J's Run - Volunteers Needed

J’s Run is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to finding a cure for pancreatic cancer.    Volunteer for J's Run this year at their 7th annual 5k walk/run event at the Lehigh Valley Parkway on May 1st.
