Wrestling Tournament Volunteers Needed

LIBERTY HIGH SCHOOL - student volunteers are needed April 22nd, 23rd and 24th to assist with a large wrestling tournament taking place at LHS.  Hours are flexible and available from 8AM-6PM.  Interested students should contact Mr. Karam at jkaram@basdschools.org to schedule a specific date/time/job.  Students should bring a Community Service Time Sheet with them to the event.

Historic Bethlehem Clean-Up

The clean-up will be held on Saturday, April 9^th from 8am – 11am. The purpose of this event is to encourage community involvement in keeping our city’s downtowns beautiful, clean and inviting for everyone!  We will be meeting at the Sun Inn Courtyard at 556 Main Street at 8am for refreshments and to hand out clean-up supplies provided by the DBA and it’s sponsors. From there, groups will be spit up and assigned to different areas of the Historic District to help pick litter and clean out planters.

Volunteers Needed for Food Drive at Phantoms Game

Students are needed to volunteer with the Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley at the Lehigh Valley Phantoms game on April 9th. Five students are needed to come to stand with the shopping carts and collect cans. Students would need to be there at 5:15 (Doors open at 6pm) to be at each entrance ready for fans.

ReMix at the ReStore

Come Re|Mix some latex paint at the ReStore! We will be mixing paint to create our new reColor  latex paint product for sale at the ReStore. Volunteers will assist with sorting colors, opening paint cans, mixing paint, dispensing the new paint, and labeling our cans.

Please wear comfortable shoes, dress warm, and wear clothes you do not mind getting paint on.

Thursdays and Friday 3-6pm.  Ages 16+

Touchstone Theatre Volunteers Needed March 31- May 1st

*Outdoor Performance Volunteers:  Be prepared to be flexible and hands on! You will be assisting in setting up seats, etc. and guiding guests from parking lots to the outdoor venues. Remember to dress for the weather!

Don't forget the perks!  In addition to helping support the arts in our community, if seats are available, you get to see the show for free on the day you volunteer.  Also, I will be tracking volunteer hours, and at the end of the season the top volunteer will recieve a thank you gift from us.  So be sure to grab some hours!

Workin' (volunteering) at the Car Wash!

Camelot for Children is in need of volunteers to wash cars on April 17th from 9 am to 1 pm. Spring Garden Carnival volunteers needed

The Spring Garden Elementary School Carnival will be held on May 6^th this year from 5:00-8:00pm. Over 100 volunteers are needed!  Help is needed setting up and taking down, taking tickets at carnival games, face painting, sitting in the dunk booth and food sales (such as making cotton candy and popcorn). Set up can start after school and take down is from 8:00 – 9:00.  The carnival itself is from 5:00-8:00pm.

Central Moravian/Old Cemetery needs Volunteers!

Central Moravian Church needs volunteers Saturday morning, March 26th at 9:00 a.m. to put potted hyacinth plants on the graves in the old cemetery located on Market Street between Main and New Streets.    Volunteers should gather in the southwest corner of the cemetery close the the Central Moravian Church Christian Education Building.   Refreshments will be served.   Volunteers are welcome to come back after Sunday morning to take hyacinth plants home or to share with friends and neighbors.    For more information contact Lynnette Delbridge, 347-549-6423 or lynnette@centralmoravianchurch.org.

Summer Volunteers - Lehigh Valley Health Network

Teen volunteer applications for Summer of 2016 will be accepted starting April 1, 2016 at 9am through April 8, 2016 at 4pm. Please visit http://www.lvhn.org/become_a_volunteer/teen_volunteer_opportunities  during this time for application information.

You must be a high school student who is at least 16 years of age by June 20 to apply to this teen volunteer program. Serious applicants should apply who are available during the weekdays between 8 AM and 4 PM to serve four hour shifts.

City Line Little League need volunteers!

This is for City Line Little League located at 2510 Nottingham Rd Bethlehem (behind Governor Wolf Elementary School).  They are our field clean up days to help us get ready for opening day of our spring baseball season.  Duties would include but not limited to:  hanging sponsor signs, painting, field maintenance, grass cutting, etc.
